«We decided to tell the story of Unicoop Firenze by designing a big TREE: the metaphor for a solid living organism that still today, 50 years later, grows and provides nourishment, protection and solidarity to more than one million members throughout Tuscany. Like a tree, Unicoop has deep roots, which are the many cooperatives that have fed the dream of a reality that has reached the top of cooperation in Italy today; like a tree, Unicoop is supported by a trunk: our last 50 years of history, during which Unicoop has played a fundamental role in Tuscan society, ensuring well-being, work and the protection of consumer rights; like a tree, Unicoop Firenze has generated a large crown that tells how the future of cooperation in Tuscany is already in the present, thanks to the great themes of solidarity, culture, and environmental protection, of sharing, of quality never separated from convenience and love for its own territory».
